The Park Theatre Mission & Vision

The Park Theatre will be a premiere Performing Arts Center for music, stage, and film, a meeting place for the community, and a dynamic force in the region’s economic vitality and quality of life. The purpose of The Park Theatre is to provide diverse artistic, cultural, and community-focused experiences designed to entertain, educate, enrich, and inspire.

Nancy Belletete, President
Raised in Dover, New Jersey, a resident of Jaffrey since 1991; Trustee since 2006, a graduate of Michigan State University, BS Merchandising Management; Commercial Cost Estimator, Hanscomb Associates, Cambridge, MA, Daedalus Projects, Boston, MA; Trustee of the Trust Funds, Town of Jaffrey; Chair, Dinner Committee, St. Patrick School 2004-13; Seamstress, Country Bridals and Formal Wear; member, Monadnock Garden Club, volunteer, Jaffrey Civic Center.


Susan Shaw-Sarles, TrusteeVice Presdient
A resident of Rindge; Trustee since 2011, BS Education Western Michigan University, MS Education, Hunter College/CUNY; Principal, Jaffrey Grade School; Homeless Liaison, Jaffrey-Rindge School District; additional educator experience in MI, NY, and NH serving as reading specialist, curriculum coordinator and classroom teacher; Amos Fortune Forum committee, Jaffrey; box office manager/actor, Cold Comfort Theatre, Castine, Maine.


Marcie MacKenzie, Trustee, Treasurer
A Jaffrey resident; Trustee since 2020, BA and Paralegal Certificate, Northeastern University; Paralegal, Upon & Hatfield; American Bankers Association Trust School; VP, Wealth Manager at Charter Trust Company, Peterborough; formerly litigation paralegal at Hamrock, Tocci, and Cass, Boston, MA and Harmon & Seidman, Denver, CO; Trust Advisor, Town of Jaffrey Trust Funds.


Sheila L. Girbach, Trustee, Secretary
A native of Michigan and long-time Jaffrey resident; Trustee since 2016, graduate of Grand Valley State University, MS Education, Antioch New England Graduate School; certified parenting and divorce mediator, Family Divisions of the Circuit Court and Cheshire County Superior Court; State of New Hampshire Board Certified Guardian Ad Litem since 1988; member practitioner, NHCRA; Volunteer, Santa’s House, Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce. 


Eleanor Ahlborn-Hsu, Trustee
A resident of Jaffrey, NH; Trustee since 2022, a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, Mount Holyoke College, theatre arts, Lesley University (Med); summer stock South Hadley, MA, director and actress; Jerome Press (Boston Playbill), Show of the Month Club, group sales for theaters; special education teacher Jaffrey Middle School.


Dianne Duncan, Trustee
A Vermont native, Monadnock Region resident since 1986; Trustee since 2022. JD degree Vermont Law School 2010; NH Institute for Civic Education trustee, 2017-2019; NH Supreme Court Society trustee, 2011-2017; Leadership Chair, Constitutionally Speaking civic engagement project; BA degree Media Studies, 1976, Mount Vernon College, Washington, D.C. Newswoman, The Associated Press and United Press International Northern New England and Baltimore, MD, bureaus. Editor/reporter Keene Sentinel, Concord Monitor, Rutland Herald.


Rachel Thorne Germond, Trustee
A resident of Hancock, NH and Brooklyn, NY; Trustee since 2022, a graduate of Cornell University College of Architecture, Art & Planning, Arts & Sciences (BA and BFA), University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana (MFA dance and choreography); Artistic Director, RTG Dance, NFP; Executive Director, Changing Times Tap Dance Company, Inc; shareholder, Yankee Publishing Inc; former School & Family Programs Associate, The Joyce Theatre, New York, NY, interdisciplinary (dance, theatre, and visual) artist, and teacher.


Tom Schiele, Trustee
Jaffrey resident since 2012; Trustee since 2022, BA, English, Haverford College; MA Children’s Literature, Simmons College; graduate study in Film, University of Southern California; 35+ years in educational publishing, including MPS North America, Staff Development for Educators, National Geographic School Publishing, McGraw-Hill, D.C. Heath, 7-year elementary school teaching; Board Member, Jaffrey Center Village Improvement Society.


Peggy Ueda, Trustee
Raised in Los Angeles with residences in Jaffrey and Brookline, MA; Trustee since 2014, a graduate of the University of California and Tufts Medical School; retired physician Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston; chair, Jaffrey-Rindge MLK Committee; host, Fresh Air Fund; steward, Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, The Nature Conservancy; member, Boston Early Music Festival Corporation; member, Jaffrey Climate Initiative, Jaffrey Civic Center Incorporators.


Affiliations and Memberships

The Park Theatre participates in NH Citizen’s for The Arts, Monadnock Travel Council, and Arts Alive!, a Keene-based nonprofit consortium whose mission is to sustain, promote and expand access to arts and cultural resources in the Monadnock Region.

The Park Theatre is a proud partner, sponsor, and venue for the Monadnock International Film Festival whose mission is to bring world-class films and filmmakers to the Monadnock Region.

The Park Theatre Corporate Memberships include the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce, Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, Rindge Chamber of Commerce, New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits, and Monadnock Buy Local, and the League of Historic American Theatres.
