Sister is back—and she’s got a Christmas mystery to solve! Sister’s Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold brings the spirited humor of the Late Nite Catechism series to a holiday whodunit: Whatever happened to the gold the Three Wise Men brought to baby Jesus? Starring Sonya Flaherty as Sister, this interactive comedy combines Christmas traditions, quick-witted classroom banter, and some decidedly unconventional detective work. Expect plenty of laughs as Sister turns the audience into her class—and recruits a few lucky volunteers to help crack the case.
The investigation culminates in a living Nativity scene, complete with makeshift costumes, audience participation, and Sister firmly in charge of the festivities. Whether you attended Catholic school or simply enjoy a good holiday comedy, this Christmas caper welcomes everyone into the fun. Reviewing other productions of this same Christmas edition, the Houston Chronicle called it “a hilarious gift,” while Jessica Goldman of Applause! Meter praised it as “a zany Christmas show with brains and heart.” Come ready to laugh, join in, and mind your manners—Sister is watching!
